My gallery isn't listed, how do I get my gallery listed on ArtFacts.Net™?

We welcome all galleries and museums to be listed on ArtFacts.Net™. You can get a free listing simply by providing us with the following details:
  • name of gallery
  • year of foundation
  • address
  • mail, phone, fax, website
  • all artists represented by your gallery.

My gallery is listed, how do I login?

You have to become a member to be able to login and update content.

My gallery is listed in ArtFacts.Net™, but I'm not a member, where did you get my gallery's details from?

ArtFacts.Net™ aims to show a comprehensive overview of the art world and our staff are constantly updating information on numerous institutions worldwide. We list many galleries we come across through user requests, trade fairs and networking.

I'm not a member gallery, what can I update? Is this free?

You can send us missing exhibitions through the following Missing Content Form. Please remember that all content sent to us has to comply with our submission rules. We do not accept unsolicited mails and newsletters.

What is the difference between being listed and being member of ArtFacts.Net™?

As a member you benefit from a variety of extra services like fast-track updates, ability to add images, access to the restricted areas of the web site and so on.

I have a gallery, how can I become a member?

If you are interested in becoming member, you can easily sign up on-line. Depending on your requirements ArtFacts.Net™ provides two different types of institutional memberships:

Just follow the simple instructions on the relevant membership page. Once you have performed the payment and ordered your membership, an account manager will then contact you with all details.

Do you have special institutional membership rates for young galleries / nonprofit galleries?

I have a virtual/on-line gallery, can I become a member?

As long as your virtual gallery has a physical address it is possible to become a member.

I am a member, how do I login?

If you are a member of ArtFacts.Net™ you should have received your login details by email. If not please we will resend a new password.i Please write to support@artfacts.net

When entering new data via the members' interface I can't see the changes.

ArtFacts.Net™ uses an Internet cache (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cache), which is refreshed only every 12 hours. So often the changes are not immediate, please visit the page again later.

I'm member, what can I update by myself?

As institutional basic member you can update: Gallery Info (Contact info, Profile, News, Artists, Fairs, Exhibitions, Catalogs), exhibition info (Description, Image, Artists). As an institutional professional member you can enter Artwork in your inventory, artist's biography or exhibition.

I'm a member, can I change my gallery direct link?

Yes, please contact your personal acccount manager by email to change your direct link.

I'm a member, how can I upload/change a gallery logo?

You can not change your gallery logo by yourself. Please contact your personal account manager by email or write to support@artfacts.net.

I'm a member, can I update our artists' biographies by myself?

As a member of ArtFacts.Net™ you should have received login details with which you can update all exhibitions taking place in your gallery. To list other exhibitions you can send us missing exhbitions through the following Missing Content Form. Please remember that all content send to us has to comply with our submission rules.

I'm member and wish to delete an artist, how can I?

For data integrity reasons all members are disabled from deleting artists directly from ArtFacts.Net™. If you are a gallery and would like an artist to be deleted from your page, please advise your account manager.

I am an art dealer, how can I become listed?

By becoming a member you will be listed in the gallery section.

What are the benefits of Basic Institutional Membership?

The stand-by-service is the Personal Key Account Manager that updates the information provided under the week. The benefits of the Basic Institutional Membership are:

  • unlock the content for all users (Marketing reason: own content is easy accessible: unlocked and visible in Artfacts plus everything gets indexed in www.google.com)
  • As a Institutional Member you can upload information on your own content (Administration interface or through a Key Account Manager)
  • your gallery/museums is highlighted (balloon) in every ArtFacts.Net™ listing.

What are the benefits of Premium Institutional Membership?

Yes ability to upload artworks. But basically the Institutional Premium Membership includes everything of the Institutional Basic Membership plus the CareerAnalyzer and the possibility to upload as many images as wanted (through administration interface or key account manager). And last but not least they receive the blue ballon (what includes better visibility in all listings and more links to own website in google.com)

How long does membership last? Does my membership expire by itself?

A membership runs for a year from when it was purchased. Membership will automatically be renewed upon expiry. To cancel your membership we require 6 weeks notice prior to the expiry of your membership.

I want to cancel my membership, what do I have to do?

An Institutional Membership contract has to be signed by letter otherwise the application process is not finished. This is why a Institutional Membership has to canceled by letter.
