1924 Born in New York City, NY (US)
Beverly Pepper, American artist was born in New York in 1922 and has been living between New York and Todi (Italy) for more than 50 years. She realizes monumental sculptures with such different materials as bronze, cast iron and steel.
It is at the end of the 60s that Beverly Pepper starts to move towards geometrical shapes in stainless steel, kind of frames being at the same time mirrors capturing emptiness and reflecting it through the different pitches of the surfaces.
