1960 Born in Aberdeen, Scotland (UK)
He studied Drawing and Painting at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 1985. Over the past 20 years his work has been shown widely in the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A. In 2002 he spent six months as l.A.A.B. Artist in Residence in Basel, and first exhibited at Galerie Rigassi in a two-person show with IngeborgLuscher, "Begegnung der Elemente" in 2003.
Other recent solo exhibitions include, "Vessels", Bridgewater Lustberg Gallery, New York, and "Dry Land", A.S.P. Museum, Wroclaw, Poland. Solo shows are forthcoming for 2006 in New York and Belgrade. Since 1992 he has been a lecturer with the School of Drawing & Painting at Edinburgh College of Art.
He participated as Jury member at the 2003 Polish Drawing Biennale, and in 2004 was included in the publication "Drawing - Space, Form and Expression›" published in collaboration with the Education Department of the Drawing Centre, New York.
