Biography: 
HalfLifers works as a co-production between Torsten Zenas Burns and Anthony Discenza. Burns received his BFA in Media Art from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 1990 and an MFA in Performance and Video from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1993. He currently resides in Brooklyn. Anthony Discenza received a BFA in studio art from Wesleyan University in 1990 and an MFA in video from C.C.A.C. in 2000. He currently resides in West Oakland, CA.
HalfLifers mostly works with videos and installations, where themes as obsessive psychic space, security, movement and improvisation are often used.
