1972 Born in Jersey City, New Jersey (US)
to Cuban parents but grew up in the suburbs of Miami, and recently showed in the highly prestigious Whitney Biennial in New York.
He works with many different media, chiefly photography, film, and sculpture.
Highly informed by the American hip-hop culture of his social surroundings, and by the Baroque Catholic-kitsch of the Cuban community, his work blurs the lines of trash and highbrow.
