1949 - 1982 curator of the Modern Gallery and the Gallery of Peasants' Art, later called Gallery of Primitive Art, all City-Galleries Zagreb
1957 doctorate of philosophy
1959 - 1966 member of "Gorgona group"; art critic and artist
