Biography:

1952 Born in Nashua in New Hampshire (US)

1975 Graduated from Amherst College, where he studied comparative literature next to Luca Samara

2001 His last entry at the Venice Biennale was extremely successful with 20.000.000 visitors at his 3 metre high sculpture Social Climber, which was placed at the Grand Canal for 5 months

2002 Until this year he has presented more than 70 solo shows internationally
