Art Copenhagen is Scandinavia's leading art fair for contemporary art showcasing top galleries from primarily Denmark, Sweden and Finland. The fair have existed since 1997. Last year, (2011) 11,600 visitors attended Art Copenhagen. This year's participants include 70 galleries from around the world and a collection of museums and exhibition venues. The fair is owned by Forum Copenhagen, which together with a fair committee consisting of gallerists and collectors is responsible for artistic management and selecting the participating galleries.

Norwegian contemporary arts magazine hosts this event on the art fair stage, taking a critical look at Nordic arts funding and what the results will be for the Nordic art scene in the future.

Enjoy a preview of Adrian Hughes' new programme on DR K, featuring six Danish art collectors and how they live with the art they have acquired.At the same time Adrian Hughes learns six different ways to acquire art.Art consultant Trine Møller Madsen takes the arts presenter around Copenhagen and shows him among other things, how to spot the tomorrow's star artists, how he can try to insure his art investments and where to look if he wants to see really provocative art.Adrian Hughes and Trine Møller Madsen discuss different purchasing strategies without revealing the DR K series' conclusion.
