We are pleased to invite you to the opening of Carl Johan Sennel's first solo show in the gallery.

The Danish artist b. 1981 presents works on paper as well as a stop-motion animation film. He graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen in 2005.

Sennels shows 5 collage works each based on 24 small abstract drawings in sketch book formats that fuse automatism with the classical "grid".

The "flag drawings" Seven Nations and Nostalgia made in oil on paper raise questions regarding the national flag and how it is being perceived as a visual icon and social identification sign.

Nightmare is the title of his stop-motion animation film that takes us inside a family home suddenly changed into a crime scene ...

Opening 12 December 5-7 pm.
