Clemens Heinl makes a well-defined and bodily statement as to the interaction of material characteristics in his artwork. Based on the fact of a noticeable solidity his sculptures turn out to be "creatures" which need no further foothold or contact because they are independent.

By complete use of the sculptural attributes of appearing the sculptures are displaying their volume. They represent the human model and impart whose spirit. By inhering in the universes of sculpting and human being, Clemens Heinl creates sculptures of realistic presence.
