the new york project is the result of an invitation by the park avenue sculpture committee and is due to happen on the median of park avenue in new york city, autumn 2014.

hilgemann has chosen eight locations, for which he developed new sculptures matching their surroundings in scale and size.

in the gallery, we're showing plans and models, plus a film clip by ger poppelaars, documenting the process of creating one of those large works.
