Guy Hepner Contemporary is pleased to announce the details for a groundbreaking exhibition in February 2005. This exciting fusion between the art and fashion worlds is scheduled to run immediately before the prestigious London Fashion Week. The exhibition will expose all that is great in the many collaborations that have existed and continue to exist between art & fashion over the years, from the early 1950s up to the Collections and editorial of 2004/2005.

Launching February 7th with a private view and show casing until February 12th, the exhibition will be housed in a unique gallery space: The Gallery in Cork Street, home to several of London's most prestigious art galleries, and adjacent to the exclusive fashion houses and boutiques of Bond Street. This location represents the perfect setting for such a unique and exciting exhibition.

A comprehensive full colour catalogue will be available, featuring essays and insights into Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, David LaChapelle and Helmut Newton's individual, unique and exciting impact on the world of fashion.

From David LaChapelle's spectacular images for Vogue Italia and The Face, through the commissioned designs of Takashi Murakami for Louis Vuitton, this exhibition explores the multifaceted spectrum of creativity that exists in fashion as in art. The commercial work of Andy Warhol for Harper's in the 1950s and Helmut Newton's polaroid snapshots of 1980s couture, add a historical perspective to an exhibition unlike any other.
