07-30-2005 OPENING RECEPTION 'FERMENTE' - STATEMENTS OF YOUNG ART

On July 30th 2005 at 4.00 pm we will open our second exhibition at the new gallery quarter 'Alte Baumwollspinnerei' with live gigs of 3 Bands, DeJays and special Guests from the HELLO Studios.

By now almost traditionally, once a year we open with the FERMENTE series an exhibition-platform for very young artistic positions. This year we're introducing four projects that in a broad sense work with the media of painting - nonetheless do so in very different ways. Besides the classical painting on canvas there will be shown experimental and media-crossing works. The tension developing from this as well as the free, curatorial non smooth approach of the exhibit program are repeated features of FERMENTE and reflect the original idea.

Participants: Thomas HENNINGER, Tobias KÖBSCH, Heide NORD, HELLO (alias Sebastian Burger, Ralph Niese, Lena Seik, Weng Holster, Tristan Schulze).

With kind regards
Torsten Reiter
