Three of the most prominent contemporary lacquer painters are featured in the gallery's exhibition. All artists have works represented in museum collections.

Truong Tan (b. 1963)

One of Vietnam's most recognized artists internationally, Truong Tan lives and works between Hanoi and Paris. His works were recently purchased by and exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum, New York.

Dinh Quan (b. 1964)

Dinh Quan is well known for his large scale lacquer paintings and innovative technique. Whether autobiographical or drawn from the lives around him, he continues to focus on relationships and the beauty of the female form.

Trinh Tuan (b. 1961)

Trinh Tuan is a teacher of lacquer paintings, an ancient Asian art form developed into contemporary works. His figures seem to have feelings inside which they unleash within his paintings.

You are kindly invited for the opening of the exhibition on Saturday 21st September 2013 at 17:00 (5 pm).
