natural ochres and pigment on hollow stringy bark log
In this exhibition, Jan Senbergs presents various cityscapes that appear to hum and vibrate with movement. Against a haze of shimmering sunlight we encounter the sedate form of a cruise ship - a micro metropolis floating on water.
Exhibiting alongside Senbergs is Garawan Wanambi, taking bark painting to the next level. Wanambi recently exhibited as a finalist in the Kate Challis RAKA Award at the Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne.
A fully illustrated catalogue is available for both exhibitions at a cost of $11 plus postage and handling. Contact the gallery for your copy.
