In the Project Space
Jennifer Danos: Architectonic Obtrusion

The exhibitions open to the public on Friday, November 7 with a reception from 6 to 8pm. Admission is free. Danos will be present at the opening reception.

The exhibition is curated by Franklin Art Works' Director Tim Peterson.

The Minneapolis artist will premier a massice concrete sculpture that measures over 30 feet long and draws upon architectual elements of Franklin Art Works' facility for its scale and form. The work seamlessly extends FAW's existing entrance ramp anothet six-plus feet, termindating in an undulating curb that follows the course of the Project Space's soffit ceiling.

Danos received an MFA from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, and has exhibited at the Rochester Art Center, the Soap Factory, Minneapolis College of Art & Design and the Gallery of Contemporary Art (Colorado Springs).
