With over 60 galleries and publishers, this year's event promises to bring beauty and strong emotions!
Lille Art Fair is the meeting point for all those who love contemporary art in all its forms.
Techniques for art printing and video will be given pride of place this year with the "Print Art Fair" and the new dedicated area, the "Video Art Fair".
As for the "Nuit de l'Art", it will be making another appearance at the fair for an exclusive evening of performances and discussions between artists, gallery owners and the public.
The presence of regional artistic organisations, conferences, workshops for children and numerous highlights add opportunities for making new acquaintances and acquiring works at any price to this already rich programme of events!
"Folon's World: An Imaginary Travel Agency"
Jean-Michel Folon was born in Brussels in 1934 and rose to fame thanks to the creation of the opening credits on Antenne 2 and the TV show "Italiques". He has been active in advertising, cinema and sculpture, as well as creating several silkscreens and engravings. Folon's work is essentially figurative, bearing the imprint of both lightness and gravity around core themes, including mankind, trees and nature, the environment and cities, love, but also violence in the world... The exhibition is brought to you with the support of the Folon Foundation in Belgium and with the participation of Editions Francis Delille.
Sculpture in all its forms : Riba
For the first time, 3 galleries have decided to present the works of Pierre Riba in a shared area. Pierre Riba is an artist who is very much in a category of his own; he works mainly with cardboard, giving it new life. Come and see for yourself! |
