Portraiture has taken on many forms as the desire to render the likeness of the sitter or to transform or idealise the subject continues to inspire artists. In its newly refurbished space, Valentine Willie Fine Art heads off the year 2004 with Portraits, a first-time showing of leading Southeast Asian contemporary artists working on the theme. The exhibition includes painting, photography as well as mixed media works.
