A dialogue of collections Paul Maenz and DaimlerChrysler
"Private/Corporate" is the first of a series of exhibitions in which the DaimlerChrysler Collection enters into dialogue with private European collections. The DaimlerChrysler Collection is thus seen from the perspective of related interests. From 1970 to 1990, Paul Maenz staged some 200 individual and topical exhibitions of the international avant-garde in Cologne, thereby securing a leading position among European exhibitors. Representative complexes from the Paul Maenz Collection have been on permanent display in the New Museum in Weimar since 1999. This exhibition will unite some 70 works of international art from 1960 to the present day.
