As the name suggests, included in the exhibition of new works by Rick Amor will be watercolours, prints, drawings, bronzes and paintings, all of which show characteristic mastery of technique.

This major exhibition features the painting The doll (Study for The room) 2010. This work shows a ventriloquist's dummy, propped up on a chair in an otherwise empty room, light streaming through a large window, casting shadows across the floor. It is an evocative and somewhat unsettling work that is sure to provoke a strong emotional response. The muteness of both the dummy and the room demands a narrative solution from the viewer, but the answers are not forthcoming as the questions have yet to be asked.
