Planet Vivid cordially invites, to discover the world of Ronnie Zimmermann. The new works of the New York Artist deal with the dynamics of life. Exhibited are paintings of tragic-comical figures and abstract paintings, self-reflecting the conscious and subconscious. His works are expressions of his personality and rich of color and structure. A spectacle happens in his paintings that relates directly to his artistic process of creation. It is of performative charakter and ties to the tradition of Action Painting. His recent positions are most impressive in context to the gallery space and the presence of the artist. Paintings of abstract figures in context to geometrical arrangements of color areas on canvas and urban situations generate interfaces to ideal and reality. Zimmermann was born 1960 in Dartford, England and spend most of his life in New York. He currently lives and works in Frankfurt / Main
