Dear friends of FeldbuschWiesner,
we are looking forward to welcoming you to our exhibition "ALL YOU CAN FEEL" with new works by SARAH SCHÖNFELD.
Opening: Saturday, March 16, 6 pm
Myths, history, memory and identity are constant points of reference in Sarah Schnfeld's artistic work. In her series ''All You Can Feel'' she entirely withdraws her own gaze. Without her camera as a premise for the image, she just uses the photographic material for her experiments. Thus, her studio becomes a laboratory and the negative turns into a petri dish for substances such as caffeine, LSD and partydrugs like MDMA. The emerging motifs oscillate between rainbow coloured islands of light, crystalline forms and images of the cosmos. In the spiky structure of caffeine, one almost seems to feel the nervous high spirit the substance effects.
