Slick, the young contemporary art fair in Paris, is launching its second edition in two spaces in the 20th district: Slick at La Bellevilloise and SlickPROJECTS at Le Pavillon Carré de Baudouin. The first space welcomes traditional boots and a majority of group shows, while in the SlickPROJECTS galleries propose in situ projects or solo shows. Slick welcomes 34 galleries from France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, USA-NY and UK, and more than 200 artists.
Slick, which takes place during the Fiac, is a springboard for the emerging art scene towards the international art market. This daring, convivial and vibrant fair is a meeting place for art enthusiasts, amateurs and professionals, who can exchange here ideas and projects, buy or sell works of art. Some will be enjoying performances, other will be carefully listening to the round tables about art market or digital art, for example, or discovering the video art program in the auditorium. And when they all need a lunch break, they will seat among the trees in the Halle des Oliviers. Who said life was hard ?
