Tobias Köbsch is brilliantly translating the movements below the surface in oil on canvas, partly extended to staged installations. Nevertheless, he does not become a chronicler of the decline. If here and there his commentaries "Love" and "Boycott" heckle, a notion arises of what becomes visible when the glacier melts....
