With its second exhibition "Works on paper" the Donopoulos International Fine Arts gallery validates the words of Beuys that "drawing is the extension of the artist's thoughts" with the work of six Greek and foreign artists from the 27th February 2008 until the end of March at the cultural compound of "Mylos".

Magdalena Abakanowicz, famous for her monumental sculptures and enormous installations permanently placed outdoors around the world, presents a rare series of eyes, painted with ink on paper.

Stephen Conroy, brings new perspective to classical portraiture with drawings and engravings which deal with the fragile human form, with figures as in recollection, momentarily cast in space, in coarse chiaroscuro.

Robert Lucander, uses discreet references to pop culture incorporating the sitter's mood
into the picture with strong colours, thus commenting on the notion of identity.
Apostolos Palavrakis, presents painting in the form of a diary, a kind of inner workings memorandum, with mixed media on paper.

Vangelis Pliarides creates in watercolour commemorative ceremonies of real incidences, inspired from his travels.

Manolo Valdés, produces impressions inspired by works of the Masters while using his characteristic script. At the same time, the gallery Marlborough Inc. in New York is hosting a one man show by Valdés showing sculpture and painting.
