The Buchmann Galerie wishes to convey the sad news that, following a brief but serious illness, our artist Bernhard Johannes Blume died unexpectedly on September 1. We are grieving for him along with his wife, his daughter, and his other relatives. Bernhard Johannes Blume produced a magnificent oeuvre that employed humor and performance in unique ways to cause us to reflect philosophically and critically. His drawings and photographs will continue to have their effect, and we are deeply indebted to him.
