Founded in 1999 by partners Leigh Conner and Jamie Smith, the gallery stands at the forefront of contemporary art in Washington, DC. Our renaming signals an exciting stage of growth and innovation reinforced by our ongoing commitment to a strong curatorial programme of mid-career and emerging contemporary artists. We look forward to expanding our international projects, advancing our art historical research, and increasing our educational outreach under our new banner, CONNERSMITH.
