Inaugurated in 1997 and located in Santiago de Compostela, gallery SCQ has ever since dedicated it's services to Contemporary Art.
Our activity centers itself on the exhibition and sale of artworks of both national and international artists of proven trajectory. And also by taking part in International Art fairs and counseling to collectors, both private and public.
Our current activity is developed in the field of:
• Formulating a criteria of collection in consensus with the collector
• The selection and location of art works that suit each collection
• All that may be related to transport and transfer of the artwork
• Placement of the artwork
• Cataloguing, certifying and any other kind of documentation related to the artworks
• Absolute availability for any consultation the collector might need in the field of contemporary art
Initially located in Calle General Pardiñas, in 2005 we transferred our headquarters to Calle Pérez Costanti 12, with the purpose of improving and expanding our facilities (the total surface is now 460 m²). Aside from the exhibiting room, we have a storage area with permanent updating of the artists with whom we work with. Each work is preselected, to guarantee quality to our clients. In a year we organize about seven or eight monographic exhibitions of an artist; each exhibit is characterized by a strict criterion of artwork selection as well as a specific project made by the artist for our space. |
