ALISON WATT: A PAINTER'S EYE BBC2 Scotland Friday 30th May at 10pm A new film tracing the development of Alison Watt's residency at the National Gallery in London will be shown on BBC2 Scotland on Friday 30th May at 10 pm. The film, directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer and with music by Evelyn Glennie and Fred Firth, examines Watt's intimate and lifelong relationship with the collection of the National Gallery and the development of the paintings that grew into the exhibition Phantom. Watt is the seventh National Gallery associate artist, and the youngest in the scheme's history. The exhibition continues until 29th June, and is accompanied by a full colour catalogue.
