Help MIMA acquire a work by Richard Forster.

Richard Forster's first UK museum show - Fast and Slow Time - will take place at the Middlesburgh Institute of Art this summer from 29 July to 18 November. MIMA have teamed up with the innovative on-line agency for philanthropy, wedidthis in order to fund their proposed purchase of a work by Richard Forster. The way this scheme operates is to invite anyone and everyone to contribute what they can, through a choice of donations ranging between 10 and 250. Further details to be found at http://wedidthis.org.uk/projects/curate-artists-journey-mima where there is an on-line conversation between Richard Forster and MIMA's curator James Beighton. Please help MIMA if you can.

To coincide with Richard's MIMA exhibition, a new book will be published illustrating all 52 of the drawings that will make up the show. The novelist Colm Toibin has written an essay for this publication which will be available in July 2011. For further details or to reserve a copy please contact Ingleby gallery.

Richard Forster is also currently taking part in the Drawing Centre exhibition in New York, Drawn From Photography (until 31 March) - www.thedrawingcentre.org
