|KunStart International Art Fair - The Fair for Emerging Art is back in Bolzano (9.12.2009)|
||A dynamic fair that wants to be an art lab. For all the suggestions that culture and the art market can give, without forgetting the various connections with design, communication and industrial production. The coming edition will contemporarily take place with “Arredo 2010”, Fair of Internal Design that will include 38.000 more visitors to all the art lovers that are appreciating KunStart. A young, but really international fair, that is becoming more and more lively and qualitative. A fair that aims to bring together curators at European level and that seeks to be an effective launching ramp for galleries, artists, collectors. For those, that in a near future, will really be the protagonists of the art sector. This is the spirit that gives life to important collateral projects that are carried out in relation and dialogue with cultural institutions and museums of the territory. “The Glocal Rookie of the Year”: international competition for young artists launched by the Foundation Cassa di Risparmio of Bolzano that aspires to become one of the most significant Art Awards (it is imminent to highlight the launch of a publication and a website of this art award). “Intersections”: the European project that faces to constitute a network for contemporary emerging art, supporting who comes from outside to get in touch with the territory. “Very Contemporary”: a section on invitation for a nucleus of galleries that are making their débuts, but that have already ability to plan and ambitions to catch a glimpse of uncommon potentialities. As not common, even if still latent or less known, are the potentialities of this place. Where, after Manifesta, remains the renew vitality of museums and exhibition spaces; or the rising attention of entrepreneurs, collectors and other contenders. A wide horizon still to explore, where KunStart proposes itself as a catalyst of ideas, of collaborations and results. |
