Studio Stefania Miscetti began its activity in 1989 and since then has worked to promote young and established Italian artists as well as to present artists internationally recognized as major protagonists of avantgarde movements which have marked contemporary history of art.
Exhibitions and installations realised in the gallery are documented through catalogues edited for each occasion, with essays by art critics, art historians, writers and philosophers: Achille Bonito Oliva, Bruno Corà, Mario Perniola, Vittorio Fagone, Alessandra Mammì, Ester Coen, Ferdinanda Pivano, Ida Panicelli, Mario Codognato, etc.
Since 1990 the gallery has shown works by Hermann Nitsch, Nancy Spero, Wolf Vostell, Ben Vautier, Yoko Ono, Doris Bloom, William Kentridge, Orlan, Marina Abramovic, Michal Rovner, Michele Oka Doner,Leon Golub, as well as by international artists of younger generations such as Anya Gallaccio, Manfred Erjautz, Michael Kienzer, Smith / Stewart, Eric Madeleine, Carmen Freudenthal / Elle Verhagen, along with Italian artists Fiorella Rizzo, Maria Lai and younger generation Italian artists Paolo Canevari, Giandomenico Sozzi, Adrian Tranquilli.
