VCUQatar Now Accepting Applications ONLINE (27.3.2008)

VCUQatar NOW Accepting Applications Online

Doha, Qatar. Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar is proud to announce the launch of the online web-based application system. The university is now accepting applications and electronic portfolio submissions online through its website. As an added incentive for online applicants the application fee will be waived for students who decide to apply via the internet. The online application makes it easy for all applicants to apply to the university.

"Our state-of-the-art online application system provides ease of access and simple instructions for all applicants. Applicants can live in Doha or anywhere else in the world and have the same, direct access to the application process. Along with the opportunity to follow the step-by-step process at their own speed, applicants can review their portfolio online before submitting their complete application." explained Allyson Vanstone VCUQatar Dean.

To start the application process potential students first must go to www.qatar.vcu.edu and click on "Apply to be a student at VCUQatar". From here they can create a login; they will then be guided through the process of submitting the application, essay, recommendations and portfolio.
"VCUQatar is pleased to offer the prospective students in this region the same on-line application capability our prospective students in the U.S. enjoy. We anticipate that the on-line application process will be very attractive for the prospective students." added Dr Charles Bleick VCUQatar Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

The VCUQatar Application Deadline is March 30, 2008.
