Biography

1962
Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (US)

She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984, and a Master of Arts in 1987, at the University of Wisconsin.

Michelle then went on to complete a Master of Fine Arts at the Northwestern University, Illinois, in 1989.

An Associate Professor of Art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an Assistant Professor at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Michelle is actively involved in curating exhibitions in and around Chicago where she is currently based. Michelle also contributes written art criticism to a wide selection of art magazines and publications.
Along with fellow artist, and husband, Brad Killam, Michelle runs The Suburban Gallery – an exhibition space located within their residential garage.
