 Biography:  1963 Born in Selangor (MY) Jalaini Abu Hassan or "Jai" was born in Selangor in 1963. With a father in the British army, he spent his childhood moving around army bases in the country. Graduating from Institut Teknologi MARA (now UiTM) in 1985, he went on to gain a scholarship to study at the famous Slade School of Fine Art in London and later the Pratt Institute in New York. Since his return in 1995, he has gone on to build an exemplary career as an educator, lecturing at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM ) for over ten years, and as an artist, while fathering two children. | Public exhibitions 8 Solo shows 42008
