Gallery Proarta Ltd was founded in April 1989 by the art historian Mrs Roxana Malmberg Pirovano. The opening exhibition showed original paintings from Sonia Delaunay. Since then, numerous exhibitions with the "classic moderns" like Serge Poliakoff, Gérard Schneider, Jean Arp, Alexander Calder, Joan Miro and Sam Francis followed. A monographic catalogue was published for most of the shows. The Proarta edition consists today of 20 catalogues. Beside the classic moderns, Gallery Proarta represents various young as well as established contemporary artists. [...] |
