|The artist's exhibitions for different categories of shows
Stratified bar plots and a pie chart visualise the artist exhibition history for different show types. Each plot or pie section stands for a show type the artist was involved in.
The plots in the bar graph are stacked on top of each other and illustrate the total number of shows and the relations between solo and group shows. The pie chart visualizes the relations between shows types over the whole period.
These charts help you to understand in what kind of environment the curators place an artist's art works; whether it concerns an overview of the artist's oeuvre or more likely, a single work of art displayed in interaction with works of other artists.
